Internationally acclaimed local artist undergoes DBS surgery for PD and continues his art.

Local resident, Jorge Lacoste, internationally acclaimed artist, recently underwent DBS surgery for Parkinsons at UCLA. The surgery was performed by Antonio A. F. The surgery was recommended by Robert M. Also three of Jorge’s paintings will be on display for sale at the ” anything goes” show. The show runs from Sept. 13, 2009 To Dec. 6, 2009 at Community Memorial Hospital, Ventura, California. There is an artist reception on September 15, 2009 from 5- 7 pm.
